Coinciding with World Patient Safety Day
 A faculty member at the Faculty of Nursing, Assistant Professor at the Department of Internal and Surgical Nursing, Dr. Mujahid Al-Khader Awareness lecture on patient safety, to spread awareness about the culture of patient safety through the theme of this year's World Day "Raising the voice of patients!" , in recognition of the important role that patients, families and healthcare providers play for safer health practice. The objectives of this year's World Patient Safety Day were discussed:

1. Raise global awareness of the need to effectively engage patients, their families and caregivers in all contexts and at all levels of health care to improve patient safety.

2. Engage policymakers, health care leaders, health and care workers, patient organizations, civil society and other stakeholders in efforts to engage patients and families in safe health care policies and practices.

3. Enable patients and their families to participate actively in the health care provided to them and in improving the safety of health care.

4. Call for urgent action on patient and family engagement, in line with the Global Action Plan on Patient Safety 2021-2030, which all partners should undertake.
