Today, Wednesday, 24/5/2023, for two days, the blood donation campaign was launched in the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Ibrahim Al-Khudairi, which is organized by the College of Nursing in cooperation with the General Directorate of Health Affairs represented by the Regional Laboratory in Najran and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority under the slogan "Your blood donation is life for others". Through this campaign, the college seeks to raise awareness of the importance and benefits of blood donation, and the campaign witnessed the registration of about 500 blood donors and blood donors, male and female students and university employees alike, and the campaign seeks to achieve the largest possible number of blood units from donors.

The campaign included an educational awareness exhibition on blood donation and its importance, in addition to the procedures involved in the donation process. The campaign also included two scientific lectures, the first of which was to introduce the importance of blood donation presented by a faculty member at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Dr. Muhammad Hassan Nahari, as well as another lecture presented by the consultant of surgical internal nursing, Dr. Abeer Yahya, entitled: "Your blood is life for others."
